Overview

This unique 6-hour gin experience starts with complimentary pick up from your accommodation and transported to our heli-base. From here you will be whisked away on a scenic helicopter flight to a remote landing spot where your pilot will pour and present your first gin of the day! Take in mesmerising views whilst you sip on one of New Zealand’s newest gins.

Your helicopter will then take you to the Cardrona Distillery. Here you will meet your gin guide and be taken through a full sensory, tactile tour of the facilities including gin tastings and drinks in the private tasting room.

Here you will be transported by luxury vehicle over the Crown Range into the historic gold mining town of Arrowtown. The Winery experience is unique and provides a self-guided gin paddle board experience along with shared grazing platters. You will also have ample time to sample many of its other beverage offerings.

The last stop is a 15-minute journey to Arthurs Point where we visit the “Gin Garden by Broken Heart Gin”. Here you will be guided through a range of local Broken Heart gins in a private room with traditional German pizza to share.

    • Flights, landings and routes may vary due to weather and at the pilot’s discretion. Flight times are approximate and include your landing.

    • Minimum passenger numbers apply for flights. Bookings will be coordinated to achieve this where possible.

    • The price includes landing and concession fees as our flights land in conservation areas and pick up locations.
